In addition, the fabrics can be linked back to military clothing. There is also a special story behind the green sail. I got it from my classmate Eva Stam. Her uncle buys these sails / tents from the army. (So that's the link with military in my concept and my fabric). This sail has really been in the war areas (this one is from Afghanistan).  The sails used by the army include holes like bullet holes, cracks, etc. And instead of repearing the sails, the army just buy new ones. This because buying a new sail is cheaper than to repear them. Eva's uncle buys these sails and re-creates/repairs them and sells the sails.
