Profile
I'm currently in the fourth year of the AMFI study Fashion & Design. AMFI is a part of HvA (Hogeschool van Amsterdam) and the study is HBO niveau. Before this school I studied Fashion Design/Styling in Eindhoven at Summa College. This study was three years on MBO niveau 4.
Experience
At AMFI you have to do 1 internship. I did my internship in the third year at Daily Paper. My design internship at Daily Paper lasted 5 months. In these 5 months I learned how to make techpacks, technical drawings, sizecharts and graphic design (such as artworks). I also learned how to do research to make concepts (for a new season), research into the target group, research into the market and the competitive streetwear brands.
Because of my previous study I also did more internships. I had three internships at 2 different companies. Because of that I have experience in Design, Styling, Production, PR and marketing, Warehouse, Webshops, Websites, Social Media and news letters.
Skills
I have various skills such as:
Pattern making, sewing and sketching.
But also skills specially for the computer such as:
Photoshop, Illustrator (making Technical Drawings & Techpacks), InDesign (making Collectionbooks & Lookbooks), Canvas, CadCam, 3D Prototyping and Microsoft Office (like Excel to use for Sizecharts).
